Gudeg is a traditional Javanese cuisine originating from Yogyakarta. It is essentially white rice served with chicken, unripe jack fruit stewed with palm sugar and coconut milk. Gudeg is composed of ingredients which are also very distinct and special to Indonesia. Along with Gudeg Bu Widodo, Java Golden Arc presents one of the most iconic cultural dishes to Australia.
